Who committed the crimes? Where’s the press release? Where are the videos? No one arrested. No one detained. But two people shot multiple times, from behind. Those are the only facts that’s been released. Hard to be angry at anyone other than this administration right now. Hard to even be angry at the deputies because leadership starts at the top. They’re treating the thugs the way their leader wants them to.

What happened to community engagement? What happened to building relationships and partnerships within the communities? What happened to our LEO’s who were part of these programs and did bike patrol? There was something good building and developing here then the racial profiling and targeting started to occur more frequently. One of the most prominent former bike LEO’s is on tape referring to Mexicans as wetbacks when responding to a call. I doubt he’d feel safe back on bike patrol after that. I doubt he felt safe that Sat night when he helped shoot two boys. Racism leads to fear and fear leads to stupid actions. But what led to his racism? He wasn’t always this way.

Would this incident have happened as likely with this type of administrators? Part of the big picture of the community to include in the conversation. With supervisors like this in charge, who could blame the deputies with "experienced" role models like these shot calling.

1) Lieutenant Rowe committed a felony (forgery) as verified by the Collier County Sheriff's Office internal investigation.
2) Captain Weathers was fired by the Fort Myers Police Department and is on the State Attorney's Office (20th) do not testify list.
3) Lieutenant Rowan was fired by the Avon Park Police Department and is on the State Attorney's Office (10th) do not testify list.
4) Lieutenant Favara was fired by the Hendry County Sheriff's Office (rehired by Peaches) for taking evidence from a murder scene and is on video using a racial slur and saying he will make up his own story.
5) Sergeant McNeil was fired by Moore Haven Correctional Institution for using a racial slur leading to other officers having to be called and use of force needed because of what he incited.
6) Lieutenant Beatty paid an informant for sex (prostitution) as outlined in an interview conducted by now HCSO Sergeant Clay and through Facebook communication and reported in Sgt. Clay's internal memo where Lt. Rowan and Sgt. McNeil also were told about it.

If its on tape, why not put a name to the allegation? If you are confident enough to make such claims and its on tape to cover you why dance around? If that deputy wasn't always "this way" (whatever way that implies), instead give the answers you seem to like imply you know.
