    Chapter 14 Departmental Order

    D.O. 1.4.17.2.1 Equipment lost due to carelessness, negligence, etc., will be replaced at the employee's expense. When any vehicle containing city-issued property will be unattended, whether locked or unlocked, it is required that the property be placed in the trunk of the vehicle. When there is no trunk, the property must be removed from the vehicle. If these procedures are not followed, and the property is subsequently stolen, the employee will be liable for the replacement of the property.

    D.O. 2.7.21.2 Sworn employees will not store any firearm in the police vehicle unless the sworn employee is acting in an official capacity.

    Chapter 15 Departmental Order Section

    2.6.8.6 A firearm shall never be left unsecured.

    I got a reprimand and had to pay back almost $3,000 dollars for a radio that was stolen from inside my car.

    Well what's going on here? The reports says No signs of broken windows or locks. Big Deputy Chief RP forgot to lock the car doors during the long weekend. Communication woke him up telling him someone press his police radio emergency bottom.

    Here's another major concern from the report.

    Why did it take Papier two weeks to give the county detectives the stolen weapons's serial numbers? Per Policy these dangerous weapons should had been immediately enter into FCIC / NCIC National Data system as stolen.

    If anyone was stop with these weapons they had a free pass because they weren't reported stolen for two weeks. Crazy!!

    Why the delay!

    I'll tell you why cause they had such a f..k up record keeping in SWAT that people were stealing and keeping expensive equipment and firearms. If you would do an audit you will discovered hundreds of thousands of dollars of missing equip and weapons.

    Follow the group back then. I’ll bet you they are staff members now. I'll give you a hint EG AND MA!

    nice catch as it does say metal safe on inventory. Hell there might have been more than $6k of value in the box.
