I seriously don’t understand any officer at this point that is it vested and decides to stick around. You are literally working for the worst agency in Broward county. The citizens don’t care about you. Some of the “family” hires do not have blue blood and will elevate to command positions, only furthering the staggering incompetence of this place.

Don’t let anyone tell you about pension that suck 20/80 or 20/75 of what crap Pay we have now means nothing compared to details and ot and money in your pocket in a different pension system . The life in Miramar is not sustainable not to mention the commissioners hate police and everything we do.
BSO is not any better. Not to mention FRS is now crap. Boca is solid with lots of money but hard to get on with.

Why run to another department? That’s not a good idea. If bso or boca turn to sh1t are you going to keep on running? There needs be unity, And nows the time to stand up. Command and the city need to be called out. Why did the city think forloughing first responders first was good idea?! Unreal!!! How about they start with themselves or other useless gigs (art culture department). I know some of you are scared because you are in cozy positions and yes will probably get knocked off for standing up. But damn grow some balls. It’s not like they can fire you for it. And besides worse case scenario they kick you back to patrol. NEWS FLASH ALL ROADS LEAD BACK TO PATROL AND EVERYONE STARTED IN PATROL.

A lot of micro-management too. I mean a lot. Can’t breathe or do any work without a supervisor on your ass, Or some rich boca scum bag who has the ear of the mayor or chief. Money is great but is worth being a slave/whore to the rich and entitled?

If the demographic of the city commission and at city hall doesn’t change we are screwed. Remember when mayor preached diversity. Gotta love an all black diverse commission. Everyone who sits on the stage during a commission meeting is black!
