    Bad Info

A certain female deputy has been putting out bad info in D4. Husband breaking into his own house isn't burglary, even if the husband is a respondent on a DVI. Btw he wasn't. Just because the wife changed the locks doesn't change it to a burglary. No, you can't straight arrest someone for petit theft unrelated to retail theft. You need a warrant. No, criminal mischief isn't a felony unless it's over 1k, not 300.00. Finally, you don't need probable cause to Baker Act someone. Probable cause is required to make an arrest.

You know who you are. You need remedial training with basic criminal law. The statutes don't change just because a woman caught her husband cheating and she wants revenge.

I don't know whom you are referring to, but I have heard a similar incident. A guy was x15 for DV battery, but later revealed that the incident actually occurred in Escambia County. Without even asking where the incident occurred, the female officer went to his residence and x15 the male without even getting his statement. It was a he said/she said with no physical evidence, alleged incident occurred at a bar Escambia County, and the female deputy tried to get the on call judge to order an emergency DVI. But wait, there's more. It was the first date between the two, they didn't have children in common and never had relations. 50 Shades of Bad. Guess what? Nothing happened to the deputy.

That type of stuff happens all the time with this admin. They protect certain people they like or are sleeping with. It is what it is. Politics, go figure
