Spot on. Bringing back a unit that had a Captain and Lt. terrified to actually do interdiction work is pointless. They spent what, 3 years of doing absolutely nothing? You quickly realize that there’s a hell of a lot of work that goes into being good at that type of job. It’s not just having a cool uniform. As is par for the agency, anytime someone is good at their job and a hard worker, they become targets for guys like Day & his Lt sidekick.
