Drop can only be done if you are under 60 and have 30 years on. You can then drop till age 60
Example 58 years old having 30 years on you can drop for 2 years. New frs is also salary only no overtime included or details base salary only. Oh and you now have to pay 3 percent for your pension.

For the 1,000,000,000,000 time, the City of Miramar cannot afford a contract for law enforcement services with BSO. BSO does not merge with cities, they offer law enforcement services at a price. Ask Weston, Oakland Park, Pompano, Cooper City,Tamarac,etc. Each of these cities pay BSO an outrageous amount of money for police service.

For the 1,000,000,000,000 time, the Broward County Board of Commissioners who control the purse strings for BSO advised that the sheriff will no longer be taking on ANY contract cities.

If you want to work for BSO, the BSO recruiters were at the last PBA meeting handing out appilcations. Fill out the application and hit the road. If you have under five years, you should do whatever you can do to improve your life.

If you are a problem child or a slug I would think twice, BSO has little or no tolerance for your bullsh*t!
