Just remember, no matter what happened, no matter whether it was right or wrong, no matter if its the constitution, the Church, the first amendment, COVID, or the governor‘s order to protect us, ANY decision made by this agency, came from fear. Whether they arrested or not was based on fear. “We should do this or else they may..... Fear of making the governor mad for not following the order, fear of getting complained on by nosey callers, fear of looking bad to a lieutenant, fear of bad press, or the big one! Fear of not gettimg promoted. Remember its all about the rat race here. This agency never makes a decision to benefit the people, the deputies, or the law. Its in fear of..... insert reason.

Lets not forget the nosey scumbag callers that kept calling us demanding something be done about social distancing and so on. Not because they felt it was right, but because they are all nosey idiots in need of drama. Something to see through their blinds. Something to post about in social media due to their sad lonely lives. Why are they not being held accountable? The callers that reported the church? Because thats what the agency fears the most.

Example: What makes you more nervous? A use of force investigation or citizen complaint? The pastor issue is nothing new. How many times have you gone to a call where even in the call comments, before you are even 51, you know there is absolutely no crime. “A guy I don't recognize is walking dow the sidewalk in my neighborhood. Look sig 13, wants dep to check him out”. Those calls, mainly not having the balls to cancel them, put us in a position of liability. See, in the end, they would prefer you screw with a constitutionally protected citizen risking a violation, than to make that brainless idiot of a caller mad risking a compliant. The Pastor thing is no different.

The decision to arrest had nothing to do with protecting us from covid or protecting the church or protecting the Constitution. Someone somewhere that made that decision, did so out of some kind of fear. Its that simple. Same goes for the backtracking after those decisions are made. Same goes for when they fire us for doing our jobs as liability buffers.

This agency has lost the ability to stand up for us or itself. It runs around scared simply trying to avoid bad press or getting sued.
