I agree! What ever happened to doing police work and taking criminals off the streets! Everyone is worried about what badges to wear and pants are more comfortable! We are breading soft millennial police officers! Go out there and arrest the criminals! You might sweat, you might get bloody, you might not even eat lunch! But go out there and do police work!!
The softer we get the more the bad guys win! Look at the ATV riders driving around cities nowhere near trails because they know we can’t touch them! We need to start enforcing the law again and stomp out crime!

Sure go for that and get covid it a lawsuit. Those days are over, damage is done my friend. , SAO is not supporting arrest from the EO the Mayor put out. He talks a big game and legal says otherwise. Go knock yourself out and put criminals in tgk and you are all now
    Exposed to the virus.

I recently had a family member visit from out of town. She says Miami looks like and acts like a third world country. People going 100 on the turnpike, dirt bikes everywhere, and just none stop craziness on the streets. No FHP insight no police conducting traffic enforcement. Nothing! Needless to say, she doesn’t want to come back.

Doggie, the elephant in the room is, if it were anglos and/or Hispanics (majority wise) they would be enforcing the ATV laws..no one wants to upset the AA community!

...... or another law enforcement agency where criminals are not pampered by the public, the department leadership backs their officers, the SAO actually prosecutes criminals instead of trying to intentionally drop cases or make plea deals because they want to just PROCESS cases and they are not evaluated on a CONVICTION rate, and the local government isn't concerned about the criminals voting for them.
That can only mean this must be a democrat majority county and mentality. Yes, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach are. Now ask yourself why people keep moving compass north. Because they want to get a way from the stupidity that makes no sense. This doesn't happen in places like Citrus or Polk counties here in Flirida Their residents support police and not criminals.

Junior politicians are thick in this county from ALL police agencies and the courts and up to the various mayors. They have a personal agenda [$$] and it is not public safety or law and order. Very sad.

You my friend are a fool and we will be watching you on the next major news broadcast. You need to wake up and realize this is just a job that no one cares about anymore. The times of fighting crime in Miami are looooong over. That shit went out in the 90's when the COPPS program started and we were being kindler and gentler. Let's worry about whats important. Going home safe and retirement. Take it from a 25 year veteran. NO ONE give a shit about you except for your immediate squad members and your family.
