The Village like most other municipalities have been working with a skeleton crew and are still maintaining a superb level of service. Instead of being understanding, sympathetic to the challenges they are facing, or even recognizing the exhausting hours that staff and the employees have been putting in (they have been showing up everyday busting their asses) certain residents are killing what little moral is left. The manager and Mayor are playing right into it. It also doesn’t help moral and is completely uncalled for to bash specific employees on social media! Can you image to have to work at a place where if you make a mistake it’s all over Facebook on a page that most residents see. How embarrassing! Shame on you!! I’m sure the Clerk got direction from the Manager and or the attorney to cancel the board meetings. Did you even ask those questions before attacking her on Facebook?
During these demanding times, it is not, nor should it be our staffs main priority that someone’s hedges are too high, or there is a STVR, some garbage in a parking lot, or a mirror on the street is damaged. We are in the middle of a pandemic! Are you kidding me! Certain quality of life issues just have to wait so we are not wasting time, resources or not putting our employees At risk over BS when there are clearly more important things to be addressed. Be a little more understanding.
Would love someone to paste this on the residents speak page. It would probably be deleted immediately.

So the mayor wants to take the police issued cars away? He also wants the manager gone. The mayor voted to give Doug tax paying citizens money, after he voted not to. He’s so low And he wants an amendment change to create a strong mayor system. He wants Ralph’s salary. There’s more.

North bay village police department is issuing cops recycled mask which other Officers have previously used. No gloves have been issued in months. This is all in violations of the CDC guidelines and a demonstration of blatant shameful practices. I hate to admit it but this is true, the Officers are not being issued gloves or real N95 masks, only recycled degenerate masks which most officers are refusing to wear. This is alarming negligence by North Bay Village Police Department and their unions are not even involved.

This is true. In fact we received PPE before other agencies gave their officer's PPE. Stop complaining people! We have received gloves, N95 masks, etc. If you ran out of something all you have to do is ask and stop complaining!

Please don’t insult our intelligence, the PPE being handed out is crap, no gloves have been handed out in weeks and the masks are recycled and no one wear them. The only reason we don’t say shizzel is because this staff is as vindictive as they come and we need this shizzel job. Grow some balls and tell the manager we need to spend the f’ing money for the equipment.

Memorial Day weekend at Miami Beach not long ago Nipples was running the show. 150-200 rounds fired into the vehicle, and let’s not forget Flamingo Park! Ok so the tone is set.
