What a scam that has been set up by our command staff. Calling off covid 19 details to check a park, to walk Lincoln Rd , and to conduct the same details we have been doing for the last 10 years. I guess they expect a large return of cash from the federal governments pocket. The city is Going to get nothing from the feds except the money for the convention center and the testing sites. The city has greatly benefited by this 7/7 schedule we are working. Ask yourself why is no one else working this type of shift. As usual we are being played as pawns. Our contract reads 4/10 hour shifts anything over 10 hours is OT. This is no longer a state of emergency and we continue to give. Come the next contract we will possibly give even more back to the city.
