    Taylor County SO requested Perry PD for Internal Investigation

    So the panhandle law enforcement agencies aren't even requesting FDLE for independent investigations anymore? What is going on?

    "Sheriff Wayne Padgett also requested the Perry Police Department to conduct a criminal investigation into Sgt. O'Connor's behavior during the arrest."

    Maybe when they called FDLE no agent was working to answer the phone so they went elsewhere.
