Very very soon Governor Desantis will announce to the employees and citizens of Broward County who their new sheriff will be. He is a man of integrity, honor, valor and loyalty. He's a true law enforcement professional and a proven leader and motivator, he's worked his way up thru the BSO ranks and does his job well wherever he's been assigned and knows how to motivate, lead and support the men and women of the Broward County Sheriff's Office. The governor has made an excellent choice in his selection. The man who will be our new sheriff will be Captain Ozzy Tianga. Congratulations Sir. Job well done. We Stand with you and beside you.

Its definitely one of the ass kissers that's worried they may get kicked out of their do nothing job and have to do anything....the deputies at that courthouse have always been an embarrassment to the agency and that says alot.

I thought that Nick Navarro and Ken Jenne (the latter, even with the problems he had) would even have been better. Nick, of course, is no longer with us.

Btw, according to Wikipedia, (and now that Toney has said he is the first african-american to be Sheriff); some more BSO "trivia" - Nick Navarro was the first Cuban-American Sheriff for BSO. Let's get a female in there now.
