So you mean to tell me you guys in Hialeah allow 31 attempt subjects who shoot into a house, strike a kid in the head (who gets airlifted) and you 07 the pursuit !!!!! WOW how times have changed. Leadership is an issue in the Leah these days..... good luck guys .... Sad

So sad 😞 but that’s how our department is changing for the worse I just hope that child is not related to a LEO and if he is then heads will be rolling down the hill

We are the only department I know of that has a clear SOP that forbids chasing for numerous violent felonies, including Kidnapping! Orders are clear that termination is immediate. So a scumbag can stop a car, grab a child and take off in front of us and we cannot chase whatsoever. De pinga

Let’s not forget we are not allowed to back up ANY police department. At the same time, we all bleed Blue ⚫️🔵⚫️. What a joke .

This is pretty simple. You have a Mayor who used to be a cop, a lousy cop who would never drop his nail file to engage in a chase. His houseboy, the Chief, is a Class #1 thug who would ignore orders to break off chasing shoplifters while hammering real cops who dared to puruse fleeing felons. There is the problem in a nutshell.

Yet he protected a sexual predator within his police department for years. Hypocrisy at its best.

They are protecting each other as JM knows way too much about Velasquez and Hernandez's bribery schemes. That's why neither has said anything negative about JM before or after the arrest, nor have they shown any empathy toward the victims.
