Regardless of his policing issues, of which there are many, his educational background coming from the area of Philly that he does is a picture of sucess that will be embraced by Broward. Osgood, who makes critical decisions involving child safety on the school board has a criminal history, as does Howard Finklestein, and.....many cops who have claimed to have acted in self defense. Tony's all the stuff that PROMISE brags about, specifically Israel's " I believe in second chances..."

He shot a guy named "Chico" not "Brooks" The incident was a "he said, she said" and he was acquitted.

I agree that he's not Sheriff material, but Broward voters won't. Neither will big donors. They'll believe that his story, not because it's true or not, but because they want to believe that he is the protector that he claims to be. Plus, compare that story to denying the paternity of your own child. Was THAT 'self defense"? Explain the good intention in that. One guy "defends" and the other guy is talking about the big bad NRA. Which one would you want on YOUR front porch if your family was threatened? His story may very well be BS, but voters will believe it.

What part of a 14 year boy carrying a concealed firearm, (with history on narcotics and illegal gang activity), goes to someone's house to finish a heated discussion over a uncle. Which turned into a verbal altercation leading to a physical confrontation. Which resulted in both parties attempting to kill each other.

Where little 14 year old Tony was probably well trained on firearms techniques, drawn he's pistol before the 18 male drawn he's pistol. Subsequently, shooting and then killing the 18 male.

Furthermore, Little Tony was "not arrested" for the possible murder of 18 male. At the time, investigators could not determined the cause of the altercation which resulted in death.

Note: if he did nothing wrong why hide it? Why lie under oath on police application, if he was right?

And he had every obligation to disclose his arrests in a police application. This is not a job at 7-11 as much as you would like it to be. If he stays this place is done. The Governor should be removed from office for making this appointment.
