Reserve 2?
Can anyone give me some up to date information on the Reserve 2 program? I am fully certified and have experience would it be possible to become a Reserve 1?

Can Reserve 2's work details? What is the pay rates?

Are their monthly meetings or can I do all 20 hours on Patrol?

How long is the FTO program for R2?

Anything else you think I should know would be great as well. Thank you in advance.

I had questions and called the Reserve Coordinator. He said the hiring process included the TABE test, poly, background etc. Afterwards, trainees attend in house training with regular hires Tuesday and Thursday 6-10 and Saturday for several weeks. Field training through phases and trainees ride with an officer for a year before their eligible for off duty details. Reserve Officers must attend all meetings and parades.
