Is this a joke? These agencies aren’t comparable to Hollywood and neither is in Broward.
Tequesta:
They have 20 officers in their entire department. They are paid significantly less than us. After 5 years we make more than they do topped out. Anyone hired after 2011 there has a 401(A) instead of a pension.
Manalapan:
As of July 2018 they are a department consisting of 8 sworn officers. They are struggling to fill the four vacancies they do have because of their low pay and retirement plan.They have a 401k, instead of a pension. The total population of this town that I never heard of is about 400 residents. Malapan is hiring if you want your $100/shift hazard pay.
