It just demonstrates a real union vs a weak union. Thats all.

Their sheriff may come out a winner on this one. Only about half of their total membership actually voted. Pretty embarrassing that the same deputies who called the union to complain about PPE gear being handed out by the sheriff to the gen pop to buy their votes can't even take a second to cast a vote. Mi madre.

Or maybe only a handful complained and the others recognized he was doing the best he could and sometimes people just don’t always get what they want and that complaining and bashing the boss isn’t always warranted or the popular thing to do. Seems to be the way of the country and our department. ....
Now back to listening to your gripes......

Real union is PBA !
IUPA failed its members look at how many IUPA members got infected because iupa failed to ensure BSO had protective gear. Stahl met with directors Ramirez and Junior from corrections in January and ensured we had equipment.
IUPA waited for a death to occur.
No way bso should have that many infections unless the sheriff failed and the union; IUPA failed!
IUPA is not respected by anyone or Sheriff Tony would not have relieved their prez of duty, he cannot protect himself let alone any of us!
