Hazzard Pay
The city has lost millions in tax revenues. When this virus thing slows down, budgets are going to be slashed like never seen before. Hazard Pay is a noble idea, but fiscally impossible. Maybe double vacation time accrued. Still cost money, but spread out and not at one time. We are going to be lucky if we retain the pay and benefits we have now! Get real, many people are putting themselves at risk, ie, publix. walmart employees, healthcare workers etc.

Who ever this is ^
Clearly knows nothing about the real Polk county sheriffs office. Anyone who truly believes PCSO is a superior agency has clearly never worked for them or ever had anything to do with them. The Polk county sheriffs office is one of the most corrupt law enforcement agencies in the state of Florida. I would personally put them right up there with NYPD.
