Our brothers/sisters to the south are also leaving the PBA

Spoke to Aventura officers that had stopped a guy on the Broward side. We chatted and soon realized they hate the PBA as much if not more than we do.
Even though they fall under Miami Dade PBA the philosophy seems to be the same as Broward PBA. They don’t get anything for their dues money and most frustrating is that they can never get a return phone call. They are
Going to a group called Professional Law Enforcement Association. Apparently, they are a professional outfit and are true warriors for their members

A trend has occurred. More and more departments are disenchanted with the PBA because they are taken for granted. When the PBA loses enough they’ll wake up (maybe).
As for us it’s too little too late to get us back. Send out those ballots. I’m ready to remove the PBA for a fresh start.

Palm beach area is losing the PBAs, MIAMI Dade is losing units left and right, and in Broward Pembroke Pines has already collected cards like we had to do. Same goes for MIRAMAR and HOLLYWOOD PDs.

Easy and west coast PBA’s are under attack because they have drastically changed their
Business philosophy. Other unions have surpassed them as a Result.
