Prepare for the aftermath, huge tax increases and job cuts
The Counties and Cities are losing tremendous amounts of tax revenues. Bed taxes, gasoline taxes, sales taxes etc. We are in for some real pain after this virus thing calms down. Would not be surprised to see benefits being cut, new hires being layed off, etc. Oh yea, and tax increases on everything they can tax. We haven't even begun to feel the other pain that is coming our way.

The biitches want the sheriff to send them all home for safety with full pay and benefits through the end of July (at least). Then they want the sheriff to guarantee they won’t experience any pay cuts or layoffs no matter how bad the economy suffers. Then they want the sheriff to buy them a free annual pass to Disney World once it reopens. Puzzy azz little biitches.

Florida could legalize marijuana, prostitution, bring back dog racing, build more casinos and recover quickly.

You can do nothing about this. The people of this country allowed themselves to be terrified into putting the economy into a recession on the brink of a depression. Then they demanded that the governments give them money, that the government did not have. Soon, the bill for all of this will come due. But, the economy is already shot for the next 18 months to three years. So, government lay-offs, benefit cuts, deferred equipment replacement, increased taxes, etc. are all on the horizon. And, as businesses fail to comeback, there will be increased crime, violence and calls for service. LEOs will be running these calls without back-up. And all for a disease which is proving to be far less dangerous to the general public than sold to the people by the media.

No different than what happened in 2009 when the tax revenues fell and the county imposed budget cuts, pay freeze for 5 years, layoffs, hiring freeze, OT restrictions, and 12 hour shifts. Better tighten your belts now and forget about that new big ass truck or the boat you wanted to buy. Hard times are coming.

First off our pay is based on property taxes.
Unless house prices tank we are good.
Calm down.
Keep your chin up.
Taxes aren’t changing.
A financial rebound is coming.
Relax.
Don’t be so easy swayed.
See the silver lining.
