He was an hour late because he had to have his press conference in front of the PSB about Deputy Shannon Bennett’s passing. It’s all about him

Tony just needs to realize he’s not a Sgt. anymore. Some of the best Sgt’s yell and scream like that but only when the absolutely need too. The Sgt’s I’ve seen that rip into you like that are usually the last ones to put paper on you though. They get their point across with their voice and their authentic concern for their people.

However, Once you leave the rank of Sgt. the yelling and screaming has to stop. A Sheriff has to rise above the combat mentality. After all he isn’t in combat anymore.

A Lt. Or above should never act like that because it minimizes his respect and authority. A Sgt. Can do it effectively because they are closely tied to their troops. Brass can not do it because they do not have that relationship. They have to earn their respect through guidance and mutual respect and intelligence. It’s obvious this guy doesn’t have any of that. He doesn’t respect or value the troops. This guys inexperience and lack of command experience is what is missing here. He’s not ready to be the sheriff.

Furthermore, Tony obviously doesn’t have an authentic concern for his people as he has stabbed them in the back, firing the PSC board, replacing it with a rubber stamp board he picked himself, and wrongfully firing cops doing their damn jobs. He needs to go.
