    South

South district down to florida city has been a war zone for years. It’s a combination of factors from non working cameras in plethora of low income government housing to the constant street level narcotics sales, use ,and battle of over recognition and turf from the gangs . You can’t fight a war when you don’t have the backing and resources. Different times in policing. Moreover, productivity is frowned upon in the current state of law enforcement. liability is all they care about . The current mentality unfortunately is - let the criminals run rampant until they go into Palmetto Bay or kendall then we use all are resources to address the issue regardless of overtime, units etc.... South district personnel are burnt out give them the bodies and resources to succeed so they can at least have a chance to minimize the violence plus it doesn’t help that the CST, SET, PSU, RID and other specialized units period are all working with limits and restrictions.
Gun violence should be every units priority not just the cool guys but that’s another forum on the modern Officer and taking a good 19 in the middle of Naranja or Gould’s looking for 55’s to begin with.

It goes to show you exactly why the proactive units in South are needed. All three squads were off due to being involved in a shooting and then got quarantined with this coronavirus BS....Obviously the district went to hell in those 2 weeks. And we all know that no one on the road does anything at all.... The 3 units got back and four 330 subjects were in custody in a span of 2 days.....Btw whoever started this thread sounds like a little gerber cry baby who couldn't get into any of these 3 units. Enjoy your Tues-Wed off for the rest of your career kid.

I don’t but you say it like it’s a bad thing. That really says a lot about you and your intelligence level. Green and whites are the front line of defense for the county. Another typical wanna be type A who became a cop. I’m sure you wear your badge around your neck even when off duty.

Judging from that last statement about the "front line of defense" totally convinces me that you definitely drive a green and white.
