South District is a War Zone

Thought gun violence was a top priority but it sure doesn’t seem that way. Gun violence is haunting south district with multiple shootings a day. Where is RID, CST, Gangs? The real units that handle gun violence.

Everyone likes to blame JP but this is an issue that has started under the new Director’s watch. Address it appropriately.

How long have you been off for? Issues started under the new Director? Shut your mouth. You don't know a damn thing. Units like RID, TNT and Gangs were scaled back under Patterson, While you were still in Middle school.

    Go get your temperature checked.

If South District's gun violence is that rampant, what is Major Fernand Charles Jr. doing about it? It is his command after all. An engaged District Commander would start by assessing the extent of the problem, identifying the most active locations, most likely days of the week and times of the day, when such violence manifests most. Then craft an operational plan sparing no district human resources and equipment. Should the plan call for external resources from other districts within South Operations Division (SOD), or even other external divisions, include it. Then the major must impress upon the SOD chief and AD Hanlon the urgency of the moment. That's what a leader does, he battles for his command and if he is fortunate, he might get most of what he requested. After all, the SOD Chief and AD have a vested interest in South District's success. They have a duty to lead as well by facilitating as much of the needed resources to battle South District's pervasive violence. But nothing gets going until Major Charles starts leading the charge to rescue the violence afflicted citizens he swore to protect.

These proactive units had been neutered years ago pass several administrations before the current one, since the MLK shooting. Now it’s all fake news, 14cc squads that don’t really make an impact when they leave the menace to society on the street with a civil fine they are all ready used to receiving as a cost of doing business loss or cost of being a lowlife. Not to shabby if you are the criminal, it’s a joke.

If you are a citizen, go screw uourself. The violence there is a reflection of society in general. Judges and prosecutors are babying the criminals and they know this. The proactive units were gutted years ago, too much liability. Go form a group of Black Panthers and address the crime yourselves.

If you're an officer, stop being a coochie and just do your job. You are being paid almost too dollar to take reports and drive an expensive car around town. Let the monkeys kill themselves and the problem will solve itself.
