FYI, Broward Sheriff Deputy Shannon Bennett, age 39, was a 12-year veteran deputy who died late Friday evening after being diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 24th.
Today, Saturday, another law enforcement officer died of COVID-19, "the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Sgt. Jose Diaz Ayala, 38, had died." (From Channel 6 news.)

And the deaths of law enforcement officers will continue to climb. Not sure about the BSO deputy, but one station did report that the PBSO deputy had numerous prior medical conditions (one of the main contributing factors for these virus deaths). LEOs are known for bad health. Many smoke, are overweight, don't sleep, and have bad immune systems overall. Take care of yourselves out there and if your agency isn't supplying PPE, get creative and make it yourself or buy it yourself. Exercise, eat immune boosting foods, And lets all survive this together.
