What citizens need to understand is that daily COVID-19 updates don't put money in the mayor's pockets. Businesses that need special treatment with city issues do. Now that bag man Menocal has been arrested Hernandez has had to work harder to keep the payola coming in.
So if you get sick and die from the virus it's no big deal to the mayor...unless you need a police funeral escort and are willing to make a "donation" for this valuable city service.

The above is a story about 3 Hialeah firefighters who contracted the virus. So we have multiple cops and firefighters who are positive for the corona virus' and the newspaper asked the mayor for his thoughts.

Response? "The Hialeah mayor’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment."

Even South Florida State Representative Cindy Polo has asked Hernandez to step up to the plate during this crisis. Hernandez's payola business has suffered due to the business shut down and the arrest of his bag man Menocal he is too busy salvaging what he can to be bothered with city business.
