WTF. Where are our reserve officers?

The union under Whortiz helped get rid of the reserve officers that could have been doing the things officers are being tied up with

1 they could be assigned to Health Services to take calls and answer questions and hello document


2 they could be assigned to every front desk with a PSA


3 they could be assigned outside the stations to screen employees and visitors


4 they can be assigned to property and assist in documenting the critical things we need


All of them can have a specific assignment everyday, this will limits exposures and allow officers to go back to their assignments


Common sense, we are going on two months this!! And probably will continue for three more!!!!

Are you an idiot or just mentally handicapped, how are you going to have retirees work , first they all are more than sixty years old in the high risk group , which will be a liability for the workers comp , can't work by themselves they have less authorities than a psa ,read the DOs on the chain of command . Even if they could get out the car ,I don't think they will be willing to expose themselves and their families for free , they only care about off duties and making money ,when they took the off duties away, they all left

I feel your frustration about the retirees but why attack them, they paid there dues. Took away the 46's, so what incentives were left to lounge around for....papo, no en esta vida!!!!
