COVID-19 Briefing from FHP Colonel?
Just saw that Governor DeSantis has authorized FHP to conduct checkpoints for motorist entering from out of State. I just checked the FHP website which only has a link to the Department of Health to reference the virus.
What steps are being taken to ensure our State Troopers are safe and well equipped during this pandemic?
Have any members contracted the COVID-19?
What can you advise the citizens of Florida to do that could assist with your mission?
Please advise the citizens.

Good Question
Yes what should one do if they get pulled over? Is there a social distance practice being put in place while interacting with a State Trooper? Will they be handling our Driver Licenses and then handing them back to us? Will they be using hand sanitizer and/or wearing gloves to ensure they don’t get infected and spread it along to others?

Anyone that looks like they have the virus will get a full cavity search at the checkpoint. If you are a minority then you are most likely to have the virus, you will get taken out the car at gun point and sent to the border for quarantine. We will check your immigration status later. Just dont come to florida with that stinking New York attitude either.

Just in typical FHP style. I haven’t heard anything from the Colonel.
