According to SGT SCHMITTENDORF, it was a LOT more than just a a little fight
During this incident several neighbors including the Respondent became involved In verbal and
physical altercation after the Respondent was struck in the genitals during what was characterized as "game." It
was later learned that following the incident the Respondent armed himself with loaded Glock handgun while
highly intoxicated and attempted to return to the original scene to "****ing kill Eddie." neighbor observing the
Respondent's actions and demeanor had to physically wrestle‘with the Respondent to remove the firearm from his
hand after the Respondent voiced his intentions to use the firearm to kill his neighbor.
Your affiant interviewed the witness who removed the firearm from the Respondent and kept him from returning to
the scene. The witness characterized the Respondent as highly intoxicated and in "rage". The witness was fearful that the Respondent was going to act on his statements and admittedly placed himself In harms way in an effort to prevent the loss of any life. The witness advised that when he removed the firearm from the Respondent that it was
loaded including round In the chamber.
Your affiant reviewed surveillance video containing audio which shows the Respondent armed with handgun and
screaming "He's going to die because he's ****ing asshole“ while walking toward the residence of the original
incident. The surveillance footage shows the witness wrestling with the Respondent trying to remove the firearm
from his grasp. During the surveillance footage the Respondent's wife is heard begging him stop.
1. The Respondent on 3/20/20 armed himself with Glock 9mm handgun and proceeded
towards the residence'of subject he had an earlier argument and physical altercation with
while saying, "He's going to die because he's an asshole."

10. The Respondent was observed by witness and surveillance footage armed with
firearm walking down the street. ’
13. The Respondent was noted as being highly intoxicated by the responding Deputy on
3/20/20. "It was visibly obvious that Peter was highly intoxicated. Peter had strong odor of alcohol emanating from his person, his eyes were blood shot and glassy, and his speech was
slurred

Interesting....
No arrest. No mug shot. No Charges. No criminal case whatsoever. Video of the entire incident, including his threat to "****ing kill Eddie" while drunk with a loaded gun in his hand (his service weapon) and one in the chamber. No Sheriff Bob press release. No firing. Even the RPO left off the fact that he threatened someone with a gun. Nice work keeping that one a secret Bob and Bernie.

Yawn, another massive coverup to protect Bob Gualtieri's political career from an embarrassing incident which could have turned deadly. In cahoots with the SAO who incredibly did not file any charges. But like Bob said, he runs the most transparent and ethical agency in the state and does not tolerate any rule violations from anyone regardless of rank.

My extensive time on LEOaffairs tells me that it wasnt his service weapon because it was 9mm and 9mm is only for girls and Deputies with tiny hands.
