Re assignments
So we are told specialties being assigned to road patrol anticipating a level 3 activation during national crisis, but then re assign a bunch of road guys to special units effective next week? How does this make sense? Even a guy who is on military leave gets a move. This shows another move that was not thought thru and made on an etch a sketch, just shake it again next week. Rank and file cannot trust our leadership to make sound decisions .22 sergeants and they continue to use acting status officers, another bad move. Third floor is bloated with brass, specialties continue to get filled with folks who have not even learned the basics. Good luck FMPD.

And he’ll come back for 6 months then disappear again for a year. Not counting all the days he takes off for “flex” swat time etc

Just does not make sense from a management side, entire country, state ,counties and cities are in an unprecedented circumstances. Agree that agency needs to beef up patrol in case guys start getting sick, why move people at this time, just to possibly have to return them ? Just example of poor planning and leadership.

So transfer officer from patrol to bikes, but move frenchy to cover patrol, seems like the only thing admin is concentrating on is re assignment memos, shame that 2 of new transfers had been on admin leave within last year or so, that's the best we have ?
