"We all feel like we are going to get coronavirus". When does the risk to your life outweigh the paycheck?

Perhaps we should pause on training.

This is why you get high risk pay. If you don't like it quit.

High risk pay? How many PCSO deputies have died in the line of duty? They anticipate you potentially encountering a violent and deadly suspect and provide you with guns, vests, other weapons, training on how to use those weapons and how to repel an attacker. What tools, training or equipment have they given you fight this?

Yet, they have patrol on Ulmerton and 38th right now with several vehicles pulling over people and making unnecessary contact over and over again. They are asking you to risk your life for a traffic citation. Thanks Bob.

Car 1 should be on the 1st floor talking to rank and file cops. Tampa pd now hash at least 1 officer with covid and several others on quarantine. Is there any plan at pcso? A real leader would be at read offs talking to the troops. Any of the command staff could do that but they never associate with grunts

Everyone is talking about patrol and the jail but what about civil? We do more work and come into contact with more people on a daily basis then anyone else at this agency!!

Perhaps you should have gotten an office job. Because I’m pretty sure you have a better chance of dying from a car crash or gunfire than from the Coronavirus. And if you think any paycheck alone is worth your life, you’re stupid. If that’s why you came here, your stupid.
