The comm center may as well be a third party entity. They can care less about us. I would say 80% of the call note they put are there to screw us. Most of my day consists of having to undo what they put in our calls. Information they get from people that call through a phone and lie. Once they put those lies in the call, those comments become gospel. Then we get in trouble and judged by morons that have been off patrol for so long that they have no idea how to decipher and sift through BS call notes.

I’m not a big fan of cc or the way this office is run, but it has been nice on the street since they started canceling bs calls and all of the srd’s and other divisions have been helping. The streets are full for once. Your supervisors are supposed to be canceling the dumb calls that come out. I think the problem is that some of them are not doing it.

Yeah, he would walk in with two employees that he hired to follow him around and video record him for social media footage. Plus his one or two fake secret service swat body guards. He will give some fake robotic speech and leave but make no changes for the better.

Also, you don't have to introduce yourself with your full name when you address your patrol deputies in a group or meeting. We know who you are and we know what a show boater you are.

The streets AREN'T full and they AREN'T cancelling the BS calls?! What universe are u living in, have u even been following the same thread?! Road supervisors shouldn’t need to un-fck the Q because the comm center doesn’t know how to vet calls and has that mentality, but it all starts with the brass backing the bulletin THEY put out about it

You out of your mind? Who has been helping us? We are shorter than ever. This agency has not only failed to prepare for something like a pandemic or epidemic, it had failed to prepare for the growth of this county, daily peak hours, and simple spikes in call volumes and case loads. THE BASICS! Why should canceling calls be put on a supervisor? Why does this damn agency always dump the liability on one person at a time like a supervisor or deputy here and there? Why doesn't the agency as a whole collectively tell these idiots “NO!” and we stand together. When call takers take a call and later a supervisor cancels it, it makes us all look like idiots and that liability should not fall on one person. Calls we do not respond to should be set in stone. FUK this agency for pulling garbage like that on us. We are used as their liability shields.

Also, STOP FUKKING DISPATCHING US TO CALLS WHERE A CALLER OR EMS REQUESTS US REGARDING A SICK PATIENT WITH FEVER AND POSSIBLE COVID 19 BECAUSE OF A MEDICAL REFUSAL OR WELFARE CHECK. AN ARREST OR BAKER ACT DOES NOT APPLY. STOP EXPOSING US BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE THE BALLS TO STAND UP TO ANOTHER AGENCY.

You have already dumped the mental health problem of this county on your deputies. How about keep us healthy and our families healthy with this virus problem.

If you do not understand what I'm talking about, then you are no street deputy or essential detective. You either do not work here or are an office jockey asss kisser.

You’re an idiot if you think a civilian call taker should be deciding what calls are entered or cancelled. That decision has always been the responsibility of a patrol supervisor.

Take matters into your own hands and just clear the call out without going 10-97. Or you can just ***** on this site and risk the exposure. You have options.....

That’s some option, risk unnecessary exposure or do what leadership SHOULD be doing without their backing so if it goes south they have an instant out. Spoken like someone who’s part of the problem and is covering their azz...

We lack the proper staffing, the required time, the metering of exposure to stress, and the moderation and proper distribution of workload.

If you do not understand that, then you should quit. Or is it too hard to give up that business hours, AKA 9-4 with a 2 hour break, gig you have in an office?

Instead of our leaders stepping up and protecting us by covering us with policy, we will have to at the cost of being liable. Then get in trouble. It may come to that. It would be a 100% classic typical no balls HCSO piss poor move.

Keep in mind, this agency is only doing the basics that were imposed upon us by the CDC and governor. They have done nothing extra.
The only thing this agency has gone above and beyond on is his name real big on everything and social media output.
