How about this? With what manpower? That sure is a fancy document the governor signed. Im sure real police departments and properly staffed and prepared sheriff’s offices can handle the task. However, NOT HERE. We already don't have enough deputies to handle the day to day operations and policing without a pandemic. These idiots have kept us on less than minimal staffing for years while they play their political climbing popularity games. There has never been any preparation for this. Hell, they dont even know how to handle when a few call in sick or are in training. We barely can deal with these demanding inbred citizens that have no respect for society. Not to mention drunks, a flood of drug addicts and this rotten county’s specialty... Crazy dangerous people. Crazy people not consumers, they are not in need of services, they are dangerous crazy people. The best part is more of these loser just keep moving here and the over development just continues with us far behind the curve. Add all the garbage this agency has taken on like animal calls, FHP calls, and CPID which SHOULD BE a state function through HRS. Plus the pet projects like juvenile checks, offender checks, and so on. How can they expect us to perform some makeshift quasi National Guard or multi agency task force function. With these inbred people not working, not at school, locked up at home, no bars to go to, they will get wasted at home, beat and kill each other. Maybe this virus is here for a reason. PATROL is not prepared. Im sure they will make up for their failure to staff us with the usual method of overloading the few deputies they do have. What could it be? Longer shifts? Call outs? If we had a mid shift, we would have enough people to handle the evening calls along with the enforcing of the mandatory business closings. What the governor wants shows what he expects out of his sheriff’s offices. Shame on the ones that are unprepared. Our patrol can not handle it.

The sheriff stated on Instagram that we have enhanced patrol presence. Does this mean he will take ILP , community resource etc and put them on the street ?

With all the illegal and unconstitutional orders issued recently about not gathering in certain places, in certain numbers, who will be the first deputy to make an arrest for these COVID19 orders? We are told violating some of these orders will be treated was a misdemeanor. And CC has posted on social media how he supports the enforcement of these orders.

Once the enforcement of these orders start taking place, attorneys are set to cash in big time.
