Besides supplying everyone with needed equipment, or at least sanitary wipes, real gloves and hand sanitizer, each first responder should have been screened to establish a baseline to show that everything is good. Then should a first responder end up contracting the virus, he/she is declared to have contracted it due to the job. You then stand behind your troops for once and state clearly it’s a WC issue and the city is on the hook, not the employee. Or at least some hand sanitizer......? Or better yet play politics, your troops except for DB and the butt lickers. Overall rating for leadership city wide? ZERO. Well written emails aren’t real action.

Amy better be assigned to the road full time to cover OT shifts. DB needs to cover the road to handle OT shifts. Water Boat Boy needs to work the F------- road as well, Mr special. Quick to sign an MOU so Nipples can promote suck butts. But, not quick to demand all cops get tested. If we get sick not Nipples nor HR will get our backs. Cheezar you’re a disgrace.

We don’t have sanitizer, we don’t have gloves or masks. We are asked to respond to work and be a part of the problem not the solution, we don’t know if we’ve contacted the Coronavirus or if with every public interaction we are spreading this virus, the public will pay the price.

BUT, (the powers that be) did take away the best portions of the take home car privileges. The Manager and Chief made every cop suffer for one guy’s mistake like we are in kindergarten.

They also made critical cuts to our health insurance to save 60k a year ( good timing on that one d-bags) but turn around and hire a CEO for 150k a year who will do nothing for the City (of course he is a friend of a city hall higher-up or should I say, the highest-up)

These are shameful and critical decisions that deserve termination.

These are the results of working for an unprofessional and debased outfit with zero experience and just completely incompetent and inept.

Just wanted to correct you on everyone getting affected with their cars. DB was excluded. The commander, Lt, childhood buddy, and follower were exempted.

This is the lowest state this department has been the last 25+ years. Sad to see this place crumble.

So Commission, according to the police contract you are in violation. The wording in the labor contract says in the event of declared emergency, double time payments shall be in place for the duration of said emergency. So you will pay up at the end of this for placing us out here in harms way. BTW how dare you say we don’t deserve it by saying the intent was only for hurricanes? That’s nowhere in writing. Brian Collins pointed out how city hall employees are at home with pay and not using their own time was a slap in the face. What about the laid off residents that don’t get paid to sit at home!
