They aren't loyal to him. They are opportunist that's why they have been working hard sucking up to the next up for the crown. None of them will even talk to him after he leaves office and they will all start talking openly about how they never liked him and how bad of a sheriff he was. They already do just not to his face. As a grown man I would speak my opinion if I didn't agree with something even if it came from the sheriff. Chip I hope you see what's around you and don't fall for their brown nosing. People like them who promoted under Morgan aren't the best of the best. They are the scum and worst of the worst. They couldn't make it to where they are on merit, so they got there by brown nosing. If you keep them watch your back they sure won't be and they will be the ones trying to stab you in it.
