Sarasota Sheriff’s Sgt. Stephen Collison resigned in lieu of being questioned about having sex on duty with another man’s wife after the husband complained to the sheriff.

Sheriff Tom Knight said, “It doesn’t prohibit officers from having relationships when they are not on duty.”

Knight said FDLE is notified of the internal investigation to be sure it is properly documented.

In this other infamous case:

1. FDLE was not notified about having sex with another man's wife while off-duty
2. and then lying about it while on-duty during an IA investigation (perjury)
3. and getting another deputy to lie about it as an alibi (more perjury)
4. and FDLE has no record of it
5. and Knight promoted him to captain to be in his close inner circle

It’s all a dog and pony show for the public and you can't make this stuff up. It is a hypocritical knightmare.

Let's not forget about Captain McElyea and Lt. Leonard. It just goes to show that when knightmare doesn't like you, or considers you wiser than he, he will send his attack dog, Mikey after you. Others get promoted! What a shirty way to run a once respected agency. Thank you Bumbling Billy and Knightmare for ruining an agency that I used to be proud to say I am a member of.

Knight says that it doesn't matter if a deputy has sex with another man's wife, as long as he's off-duty. Sweet.
