This crew backed Scott Israel in the past. This is very bad news for Scott. He has lost almost all of his support. Bye bye Scott

There's rallies all over Broward today to protest the reckless spending of BCPS and to point out the failings of the school board and their beloved Runcie. Scott Israel has an opportunity today, if he is open to facing some conflict. Instead of preaching to his shrinking base that is now even smaller with the loss of support from a Wilton Manors leader , he ought to consider facing this population and rather than defend the past, state that he wants to come to the table and address problems as we go forward. Since he's been abandoned by prominent donors, he really ought to consider a Hail Mary and courageously lay blame at the feet of SBBC for the failures that led to MSD. His campaign has foolishly concluded that doubling down is the best strategy. He is doing nothing to distinguish himself as a candidate. He bent over for Osgood and based on the Tamarac incidents, apparently Tony will too. Unless there's a defector this race will come down to " Hmm.. should I pick the black or the white guy, they're pretty much the same..." The poster who goes on about how voters don't care about the schools....." WRONG. What voters don't care about is the antics of Ron DeSantis. He has overwhelming bipartisan support. So does Tony. The teachers union is 33k strong. They loathe the school board and Runcie. The optics of being on Runcie's team, even if it's silence that suggests an alliance, is not in the best interest of any candidate.
