First the prisoner walked almost three miles before he stole a truck crashed his way out of a fenced compound and then luckily crashed himself. So many red flags for real law enforcement that I don’t know where to start and ole peaches just acts like they did a great job. Sad. Second it shows how of out of touch with modern policing techniques that we don’t train ourselves in the PIT But we engage in a pursuit that seems to be outside of policy and then peaches crashes into the guy to stop him. How many citizens were placed in danger and would we all have been allowed to act out side of policy and ram a vehicle with no training. Go Hendry County

That would actually make them qualified under Steve's hiring practices. Deputies using racial slurs caught on camera, hiring several deputies fired from other departments for unethical/unlawful behavior, hiring deputies fired by other departments and declared by the State Attorney's Office as not credible so they cannot testify in court due to past lies/hidden truths/coverups/etc., deputies hired after having sex with a confidential informant and even one paying for it which is prostitution and the other did it while on duty, hiring a deputy fired by another department for committing a felony by forging documents for Medicaid fraud, re-hiring a deputy fired for stealing evidence (which turned out to be the murder weapon) from a crime scene, the list goes on. Oh, that's right, I stand corrected as they would have to do something worse than repeating courses at the academy to qualify to work for Steve as evidenced by these other hires.
