    Parkland

What have we learned? Where are we better? Where do we need to get better?

Better because we have more cops in schools. Worse because we have more bad cops in schools and more bad supervisors and command staff.
Can’t stop a Parkland from occurring, but can certainly have a better response.

So maybe this question was partially answered by the response to the South Dade Senior High School incident?
What commonalities did it have with Parkland?
    ☑️White male armed with AR15
    ☑️Non-student subject
    ☑️High school in session
    ☑️Multiple agencies involved
    ☑️Unified command
☑️Awful response by our command staff
☑️Rank and file (officers &sergeants) did a decent job
So all of the talk the past two years has been about the failure of Broward County Sheriff's Office’s response, particularly their command staff, as well as bad policy, etc., and our stupid idiots (lieutenants, commanders, majors) collectively failed and illustrated just how lazy, incompetent, useless, unqualified and incapable they are. The Chief of Police arrived on scene before any of them. How pathetic. Parents with students at that school should be disgusted and slap the s*%t out of anyone who wears rank on their collar.
All of you suck and are a waste of money!
Good job to the officers and sergeant. I see we haven’t learned anything from Parkland and aren’t any better. We’re the same old school police we’ve always been and will always be, with the worst supervisors and leadership in police work.

Command staff sucks! Period! They know it and don’t care.
