A new Democratic PAC is planning to deploy technology originally developed to counter Islamic State propaganda to service a domestic political goal in the United States to combat online efforts to promote President Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

The group, called "Defeat Disinfo," will use artificial intelligence and network analysis to map discussion of the president's claims on social media. It will then intervene by identifying the most popular counter-narratives -- and will boost them through a network of more than 3.4 million "influencers" across the nation -- in some cases paying users with large followings to take sides against the president.

I’m curious why Facebook and IG are only removing #QANON “conspiracy” pages? Why not remove Bigfoot pages? UFO pages? If it’s all just silly nonsense, then why is QANON more silly or harmful than the others?

In Nevada, mail ballots are being sent to inactive voters who have not participated in years -- and those ballots are piling up at mailboxes. Anybody could pick them up and cast a fraudulent vote. Here is a pic at an apartment complex:
