SOAR OT gone in March
Rumor is SOAR & MCSAP OT for CVE guys is gone in March. It seems mean Gene & his cronies has pissed away the OT money. Maybe some journalist should look to see where the money has went because i don't hear anyone working SOAR often. CVE guys say they should have plenty of Federal dollars left because they sure aren't spending it on their new Tahoe's. Maybe it's going to Major Welch who's been hired back as a consultant in the building for taking the fall for Brown & Spaulding.

FHP used that money to pay overtime for the last Hurricane that didn’t make landfall. Because the eye of the hurricane never made landfall the state didn’t receive any federal money. The CVE MCSAP money especially could be an issue for them.

You all do know that Lt Rodriguez is a moderator here right? Why you think the Taco posts go away so quickly? Just walk into his office and see how quickly he puts down the phone, he is always watching something in it that maybe is not appropriate. Thank God the snake will be gone soon back to Orlando, thanks to the open line to the Colonel.

Fhp is a dump
Soar should only be allowed for regular road Troopers. CVE have their OT that road Troopers can’t work so why do they get more OT than we do? They should never allowed LT’s and CPT’s to work it either. This dept is so BS and corrupted. It’s amazing we still around. Take away all the little bit of OT by allowing us to work soar and don’t give us any significant raises. Then they wonder why we have no troopers and the ones that stayed really don’t care. This agency is an embarrassment dump. It should be disbanded period. Save tax payers money and give it to the local pd and Sherriffs.

Do Welch really works at GHQ again? Someone needs to call the news or get a hold of Pam Bondi. Sounds like a scam to me.

Those two programs come from different budgets, so does incidental. Right now the only thing I see being clamped down on is incidental. Worst I've ever seen happen to soar was reduction to 6 hours a week and that was during the 2010 recession. So relax...

Hey, eight new trooper positions in the central part of the state and Troop D has some funding for a new building. Sorry, no raises.

The building, which is owned by FDOT, has been condemned. FHP has no choice but to move!

Building is owned by the Department of Management Services (DMS). The building, like the troop, is in horrible condition. The Colonel knows about both, and is addressing the building issues. The other issue, the elephant in the room, continues to be ignored. Troop D the dumpster fire, is a raging inferno, BUT NO ONE CARES !
