This is so pathetic. People used to get into LE to fight crime. No it seems that what is importaant to people is doing nothing and getting paid for it and working as many details and as much overtime as possible. How sad. Perhaps you would be happier working as a hedge fund manager, than a LEO.

Now what do you call a fluffer spot? And are the returning deputies full time of reserves? This makes a difference.

You would have to ask those who came back and what role they play? Turkeys, snow cone events, LGBT events passing out BSO condoms glow in the dark, driving others around, collecting grant money doing nothing. Well if a nickel bag is something th eff n they are working hard..

So, this means that you want to get paid to perform all of these PR events? Is that what you are saying? You want to hand ou the turkeys. the snow cones, and the condoms instead of fighting crime? That is why you joined a LEA? There are a bunch of social service agencies which do that, so you shouldn't have an problem with finding the career of your dreams elsewhere.

Now, once again, are we talking about retread deputies who are working full time or are working as reserve deputies? There is a big salary difference between the two. Post when you have the answer.
