Obviously you know nothing because the fact that we have cars, laptops, and a variety of other things means the department is not afraid of doing work. But hey write your 15 page action paper and submit it. Or are you too lazy to actually do it. The department has a uniform committee, you know the one that got the body vest carriers an covers.

Nice try. The state had to force the department to goto electronic citations and crash reports, among other things. It was done out of necessity, not because it would make sense or help the officers do their jobs more efficiently. Same for the change from bubble lights to leds.

And have you seen how horrible those vest covers look and how terrible they are to use? I'd say half the people with them in their possession would rather not use them.

Can you tell me how come the uniform committee decided not to use light weight materials, or how come we can't even get side pockets on our pants? Its cause they dont give a shit.

The officers have been begging for actual modern uniforms for a while and the uniform committee is blind to that.

go back to your 3rd floor office and close the door.

You millenials will complain about anything. You have doctors notes for beards...just get one for new uniforms. Quit crying and take some pride in your uniform. Take more pride in the job. Not worrying about how you look coming to work. If you don't like the brown gown, then go work somewhere else.

I heard that "cry closets" are coming soon for millennial cry babies that can't get what they want. Any truth to that?

Any truth that the county has to pay the state 500 dollars per uniform officer for uniform violation every year? For not wearing green/white or green/green...corrections uniforms are to state standards and the police cars are standards green/white except it says Police on them instead of saying Sheriff..that must be expensive if true for those fines.

It’s obvious the folks who designed our outer vest will never wear one or wear a regular uniform. Whoever authorized the final vest was so afraid of changing the uniform they made no changes at all. #wasted$

PBA is on the uniform standards committee but made no recommendations. Stayed silent and rubber stamped all the discussions.
