Hold on our supreme leader just told us that jail is an antiquated concept. We don’t need jails anymore in Sarasota so why would we worry about prosecuting criminals? I guess Tom Knight and Ed Brodsky can spend their days playing golf and getting paid.

The attorney general explains that the Office of Statewide prosecutor is designed for cases that “impact two or more judicial circuits in the State of Florida” .... so how does a homicide in Bradenton Beach qualify for this? It doesn’t. But Ed Brodsky tried to use Sheena Morris’ homicide for political points and got caught lying, so he dumped the case off on the Office of Statewide prosecutor. It is clear that Brodsky will stoop to any low to win his election in the 12th Judicial Circuit, even if it means lying to the public in a Herald-Tribune interview and using a grieving mother for political points. This is shameful.
