Remember that the doctor doing the test doesn’t work for any agency. Applicants are not scored with numbers. So an applicant may take a psych test for Miramar and “pass”, but if in a few years their mind frame changes or they rush through it, they may score marginally. That failing score cannot be used punitively due to labor laws and HIPPA. So, they simply return to work.

It’s not the Chief “blacklisting” an officer. To accuse the agency of such a conspiracy is preposterous. Hopefully this sheds some light.

I tried to explain to whoever this is that I have seen and met some of your people who are applying to other agencies and they just arent passing the other departments backgrounds. Thank you for a reasonable explanation without attacks or name calling. I don’t believe Mike or Natasha would aid in blacklist antics, but wouldn’t doubt that if there was some other way, the chief would try it.

I just think it’s easy to call people names and launch insults. Its a little harder to stop and think for oneself and stop following the flock. The ability to make a rational and reasonable conclusion based on facts is unfortunately what we as Miramar Police Officers lack these days.
The personnel unit does a great job. They truly have an unenviable job.
I know certain things look dirty or shady at times, but I can “almost” guarantee that there is zero involvement from the chief other than a yes or no on applicants.
