IUPA secured 25% for the deputies in a 3 year contract

While we struggle to get 1% for 3 years, IUPA got a 25% raise for their members in Volusia County Sheriffs Office.
This raise and others similar are The main reason so many agencies are switching to IUPA for representation. In the next two weeks another Broward county agency will be voting to pull away from the PBA and switch.

IUPA doesn't settle for bad contracts. PBA always tells folks "this is the best deal we can get. Better sign it". IUPA always holds the line. If the members dont like the contract- they dont sign off on it. Simple formula.

The truth is the PBA sucks and can't negotiate their way out of a wet paper bag! We're 18 months past the expiration of our contract and the PBA is stumped! Thanks PBA for nothing!

It’s the commissioners that Ratcasano got in to power that have screwed us. Not the PBA. The truth hurts. Rocco flucked us all due to his naive low iq way of bending over for people who flucked him... and flucked us. He shouldn’t even be a police officer.

So your saying the PBA is an absent representative and is throwing Rocco who is one of our own officers under the bus? PBA has got to go end of story!

Facts speak volumes. IUPA just got BSO the largest pay raise in over 20 years, more seniority benefits, no longer pay for take home cars, more days of..... what has the PBA gotten Hallandale? NOTHING!!!! I am willing to try IUPA. We know lawyers show up to critical incidents with IUPA and more.
