The PBA just isn’t what it once was. Don’t know if it’s incompetence or lack of caring, or a little of both but it’s time to cut our loses and move on to something fresh and new. Bring on the vote.

Hallandale will probably stay PBA. The other two unions just don’t pass muster.

This tome, the elect will be controlled by PERC which means a fair and honest election. If it were a union election, I would agree with you because the PBA always rigs their elections

Not sure about FOP in this area. In central Florida they are very weak. The FOP hall is a good place to drink beer and play darts...but they barely have enough funding to keep the lights turned on. The Teamsters used to have a lot of police units but they are evaporating quickly. IUPA is exploding in central and west Florida....Sarasota PD...Indian River County...Volusia County SO...St. Lucie County SO...Deland...New Smyrna. They are like Pacman , gobbling up units left and right. Most of it right after they got the Volusia County Sheriffs deputies a 24% pay increase in their last 3 year contract. Everything seemed to fall into place after that.
