My point
Instead of opening a dialogue with the Deputies you resort to belittling them. Maybe this is the only way Deputies are able to address the administration without fear of being ridiculed. As a administrator maybe you should look at thing with a perspective of making things better for the “ sisters and brothers”. If you actually care you can see that the “ whining and crying” are a way for you to possibly step up and be a mentor to these lost and confused souls. There is no direction no reasoning behind the decisions made.

So afraid
Why are some so afraid of change. Loss of privilege. Loss of rank. Loss being on the inside. If you are a good solid cop and do the right thing wouldn’t you want to work where that is what you are judged by. If you say that the sheriff doesn’t tell people who should and shouldn’t be arrested ticketed or what a report will be labeled then you haven’t worked here very long.

Don't worry about the boss just worry about the handful of deputies that are leaving and as soon as they leave they're spilling the beans with 100% proof not hearsay or accusations. The ones that 101 trusts the most are scared of his downfall and what will be leaked out but since the last election many has been watching him like a hawk becoming his best "yes men" to get deeper into his code of silence brotherhood just to reveal the inner secrets to reveal who's done what and watch the corrupt empire fall to ruins and charges brought up on the key players.

There's a reason for promotions its called experience. You want dialogue go to Netflix. You want "rank" but not responsibility that goes with it. Are you trying make some case the "whining and crying” is a cry for help from deputies you say are "lost and confused souls."? You need help, seek counseling or find a religion. People should be afraid of change you describe for reasons opposite you try to explain - by the way the department is staffed by "deputies", who outsiders like you refer to "cops". HCSO is county wide, even the lowest rank deputy could assert jurisdiction anywhere in the county, incorporated or unincorporated.

If you have an allegation to make "the Sheriff tells people who should and shouldn’t be arrested ticketed or what a report will be labeled then you haven’t worked here very long." I'm challenging you to make it here and take it anywhere you want to. Put your name to it the same way you are fast to put the name Sheriff Whidden on every BS attempt at character assassination to play a political game.

That’s b.s. no matter what you give or how much they’re paid they’ll still find ways to complain. It’s the generation and it’s the same problem EVERY WHERE! The mentality is not what can I do for the agency it’s what the agency can do for me. It’s a proven fact you pay them thousands more and they’ll still complain they need more it’s never enough. It’s Hendry County they can afford the same as the coastal counties which unfortunate but let’s be realistic. As far as the b.s. deputies not being allowed to enforce laws, make arrest or write tickets is an absolute lie! The only one who’s ever lied about that similar statement was a guy who got fired Vernon Speak who now works for Lee County. FDLE cleared Sheriff Whidden on that allegation. Hendry County election years are always so ugly!

101 has? That’s why he’s the only Sheriff that’s done multiple terms in over 20 years. Your perspective is squid. If the Sheriff is letting people out the back door put up or shut up. I think that’s a lie! The Sheriffs Office recently formed a violent crimes unit and from what’s showing on their arrests several suspects have been made this year. Position turnovers appear to be the same across the nation from agency to agency due to people like yourself defaming law enforcement. You know when children aka cops these days talk crap about their agency and fellow officers behind their back and anonymously On this trash site shows their cowardly, immaturity and disrespectful personalities. Why would anyone want to be a part of that? Eating your own. It’s not a profession anymore it’s a job. They have no loyalty or professionalism to the badge or the personnel backing them up. I know it’s not just Hendry County it’s the law enforcement generation accord the board. Go post another selfie of yourself sitting in your patrol car while sitting under a tree.

Wow. Deep. Roosevelt quotes before, now JFK ripoffs. Who's next Ghandi or Hitler?
"The mentality is not what can I do for the agency it’s what the agency can do for me." JFK ripoff. Are you the same philosopher who copy pasted Roosevelt two weeks ago? Wow you are definately well read, original, and highly pursuasive.
Do you have a course certificate in pursuasive writing?
