    Opiate addiction

What's the deal with employee addiction. Is it still a career killer if you ask for help.

It's never been a career killer if you ask for help.

Steroid abuse is an even bigger problem which has never been addressed.

They would rather you ask for help than get to the point where they have to force you.

No addiction has ever been a career killer. Addiction falls under ADA and medical data that is protected by HIPAA.

I agree it could be an addiction, but that’s not the case for all. And if you have an issue there is help here. But if you get a DUI you are fired. If you get caught with illicit drugs and arrested on a felony you will be fired. If you ask for help you get it.
