    Three Miami commissioners voted to fire City Manager Emilio Gonzalez, based on poor performance and accusations he lied on a permit application.

    The removal failed, one vote short of the four required by city law.
    But he'll be investigated.

    By Miami PD Internal Affairs? We hope not. For objectivity sake, Mayor Suarez should ask the Miami Dade Police Department, Professional Compliance Bureau, or FDLE to conduct the investigation.
