Thank you Jeff Bell and IUPA for speaking the truth. Everyone here including command knows the truth about this poor excuse for a Sheriff but they are too scared to speak out and do the right thing. All they offer is silent obedience in return for a pay check. That is not leadership. The Sheriff and command have lost all support of the troops. You would hope they would learn something from history or even from the former Sheriff Israel’s failures after losing the respect of the rank and file but alias they have not.
The Sheriff was furious at Jeff’s comments about him grabbing his crotch jumping around like an idiot. The Sheriff was so mad In fact he had channel 7 remove Jeff speaking and the video of him grabbing his crotch from the news story.
Just so you know Sheriff men have given their lives and have been killed in the line of duty wearing that uniform that you disrespect by dancing around like a clown and grabbing your crotch for a couple of votes.
Jeff Bell has respect from the rank and file that you will never have. And when you attack Jeff and go after his reps like we already heard you are planning to do remember IUPA is our voice and our union. So an attach on Jeff and our union is an attack on every sworn Deputy that works here.
What a shame.

How can you say that garbage. The guy was resisting and putting his head up which is why he deputy was exonerated. You obviously don’t infers Graham vs. Connor or use of force. Tony is an idiot. And the command at BSO is showing is all they are gutless cowards. If it’s wearing Brass at BSO, most likely it’s a coward.

Dude who cares! Those deputies were morons. All gung ho in their BDUs going to show all those students they're bad azzes.
You're absolutely correct about graham vs connor but in today's world that's so politically charged, the interpretation of the law takes a backseat to politics.
Bottom line is they should have sat in their units with their emergency lights on and just did nothing else.
No one has our backs and they really never had at BSO. If you're smart you dont do schit...if you're a dumbazz all tatted up, juiced up in bdu's, you're eventually going to be without a job.

I think I read IUPA filed a suit with Tallahassee for all the deputies fired this year? I do hope that is true.

In some cases yes but it takes a very long for that to happen and these guys will be long retired. Plus, people sue the agency, not the person. As far as criminal charges against these command personnel, not gonna happen. If you've been around bso for any given time, (I wont name the major) but at the time he had evidence in his sock drawer that would have cleared a wrongly convicted man. Did he get any jail time....no way because he claimed it was an accident.
No one is going to jail....lawsuit maybe and that's way way down the line. The command staff, sheriff, legal dept could give two schitz because they'll be long gone before anything rises up.
